Alpine Touring are designed for going uphill and downhill as well. Touring
& Free touring skis vary in width and weight. Wider versions like the Augment Tour Ride models are suitable for deep snow tours. The narrower, lighter skis like the Augment TC78 are usually used for spring and long distance touring.
